ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival to Buenos Aires - THE PARIS OF THE SOUTH

• Arrive to EZE airport. Meet the driver in airport lobby to head to hotel in downtown BA.
• Let the Adventure Begin! Group lunch at the iconic El Preferido de Palermo restaurant.
• Tour of El Teatro Colón (Colon Theater); one of the most beautiful architectural and cultural landmarks in South America.
• Dinner at La Fuerza (Argentina’s first vermouth bar) named One of the Greatest Places in the World by Time Magazine.

Day 2: San Telmo Market & Flight to Mendoza - TO THE MOUNTAINS

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Walk the famous San Telmo Market, classic BA experience.
• Head to airport to depart for Mendoza.
• Mendoza: Drive into the foothills of the Andes to our incredible mountain oasis hotel, La Posada de los Andes, that we will have all to ourselves.
• Chef Silvina, our private chef who we will have with us our entire stay in the mountains, will prepare us a simple, delicious, and healthy dinner.

Day 3: La Posada de los Andes - ANDES MAGIC

• Sunrise yoga (optional), breakfast at the hotel.
• Hike into the Andes for a picnic lunch with mountainous views for days.
• Relaxation time post hike (options of enjoying the sauna or cold plunging in the glacial creek).
• An in-depth local wine tasting of family-owned producers led by Lizzy for Happy Hour.
• Chef Silvina cooks for us over the traditional woodfire grill (parrilla) for dinner.

Day 4: La Posada de los Andes - ART & NATURE

• Sunrise yoga (optional), breakfast at the hotel.
• ‘Art in the Andes’ painting class with Valeria outside.
• Professionally led olive oil tasting of locally made Mendocino olive oils, followed by a fresh lunch.
• A visit from local female jeweler Eugenia Roma - learn of her craft, as well as buy special gifts. Manicures and pedicures available to sign up for too.
• Mud oven Empanada-making lesson by Chef Silvina.
• Optional Tarot/astrology readings after dinner and before bed.

Day 5: Horseback Riding in the Uco Valley - THE GAUCHO LIFE

• Check out of La Posada and drive through the mountains.
• Horseback riding, asado and Graffito wine tasting with maverick female winemaker Jimena Lopez. A truly unforgettable experience.
• Depart for our new hotel destination in the iconic wine region of the Uco Valley.

Day 6: The Finest of Wine Country - VINO ARGENTINO

• Today is the day we treat ourselves and celebrate our epic week together with an amazing finale in wine country.
• Lunch at the world-renowned Catena Winery and enjoy wines of Luca and La Posta by the illustrious Laura Catena.
• Casarena Winery for a tour of their rare old vine vineyards followed by dinner at their newly designed restaurant in the vines.

Day 7: Departure Day - VIVA ARGENTINA

• Depart Mendoza for Buenos Aires. Depart BA on evening flights back to USA.
• Arrival back in the USA - stock up on wines from your trip on Drink Pourtal site!
