More about Giacosa Fratelli
From father to son to brothers to cousins, four generations of the Giacosa family have passed down their talent from making fascinating red wines in the Langhe region. Founder Giuseppe was the only one of four brothers in the late 1890s to work the land, a passion then shared by his son, Leone, who nurtured Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto at the Neive estate. Expansions since the 1960s into prime Barolo and Barbaresco areas increased their range.
Today, cousins Maurizio and Paolo manage 50 hectares and produce 800,000 bottles per year.
